God ALWAYS finds a way!!

It amazes me...no matter how stubborn or self-seeking we are, God always finds a way to bring about His will in our lives!

Yes, we have freewill....but don't forget, so does God....and if He wants you on path "A" and your desire is path "B", He has the freewill to turn up the fire and make your time on path "B" SO uncomfortable, that you're going to WANT to get on the path that God has chosen for you!!! Freewill is a reality....BUT so is God's ability to deal with it...AND us!!

When All Else Fails...

How many times does it take us to learn?? We seem to keep seeking solutions for our problems by contemplating...debating...and rationalizing!! All the while God is there...watching, waiting, and tugging at us....speaking gently into our ear "When will you listen to me and do it My way??" Of course, we are forced to respond, "When I'm done being stubborn...that's when!" LOL

I've got some areas in my life that God is dealing with me on....areas I don't seem quite ready to say "Okay...I'm done being stubborn!!" How about you?? I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that it's ALWAYS pointless to try to solve my own problems....faith screams to give them to God!!! He has the answers!!

What do YOU believe???

Think about it....why are we so quick to believe the lies of the enemy?? He tells us things like: "you'll never succeed", or "you'll never amount to anything", or "that's too hard for you"! So why do we so readily buy into his lies?

Think about it. The lies of Satan are ALWAYS closer to what WE can provide for OURSELVES!! So, it goes to reason that we will gravitate toward what we know best!!! To believe and buy into the lies of the enemy give us a preverted sense of security.

Believing in the promises of God take a huge measure of faith...because HE always moves in the realm of the SUPERNATURAL!! It's harder to go there!!!

Okay...this is a step into a brave new world for this Pastor....the world of blogging!!

It is my hope that this blog will be a source of hope and inspiration as I share the insights God gives me AND as I share my struggles in walking out the Christian faith.  After all, aren't we ALL in this together?
